Malaysia, 1990

In the early 1990s, two major telephone companies were operating in Malaysia: Uniphone Telecommunications (under the Uniphonekad brand), which had installed public telephones mainly in urban areas, and Telekom Malaysia (under the Kadfon brand), which provided a capillary service in rural areas. Both companies began using telephone cards provided by the GPT in 1990, but the first issue should be assigned to Telekom Malaysia for a few months. It is a series of three complimentary cards, each with a circulation of 1,000 copies, which were distributed to test the telephone system. The following year, a series of cards with views were issued, three of which, with values of $ 3, $ 5 and $ 10, used the same images.
