To All Users,
Daniele Pitarresi is a DEDICATED collector and dealer of Worldwide Phonecards, as can be seen by all the work he has put into producing Phonecard Catalogues over the last few years.
Many people on this site and around the world have had transactions with Daniele, Andy Murray and, MV Cards and they are known to be HONOURABLE in ALL their transactions.
Otherwise they would not have been in buisness for as long as they have.Due to personal reasons Daniele has been unable to give his time to Phonecards etc for the last few months. This fact is well known to all at Allcards because messages have been placed in this Forum for ALL to read giving this info. I would suggest that Derek and Charles establish what is contained in the boxes still stored at Charles' house, so that all the FACTS are in order before any more accusations are levelled at ANYONE! There are over 300 people registered, at the moment, on this site and I would say that everyone of them would vouch for Daniele, Andy and MV Cards in their dealings. I can say that Daniele is a CORRECT PERSON and I know that for a fact!! Regards,

Daniele is back and world of phonecards goes up ... up ... up ... .  Many people on this site and around the world have had transactions with Daniele, Andy Murray and, MV Cards and they are known to be HONOURABLE in ALL their transactions. I would suggest that Derek and Charles ( and I know Charles, too ) arrange the situation and go on to up , more and more the world of phonecards. I can say that Daniele is a CORRECT PERSON, and the man that do working world of phonecards. Regards,

To all collectors and dealers,I'm in contact with Daniele since 2 years and I personally visited and met with Daniele, Andy Murray and Olga Riabova in Lugano di Sirmione on July 2001. I realized various transactions with MV Cards and Daniele, total value over US$ 1500 and I never experienced problems to get my payment or cards. It was a great pleasure to met with Daniele, Andy and Olga and all I can say they are all very kind and honourable persons. I'm completely agree with Anthony, without Daniele and his personal effords, the phonecards collection World would not get all these catalogues, which all of them are trasure value. We can not ignore his and all MV Cards Team effords to bring us a knowledge on phonecards collection. Everybody in this Forum and All-Cards also know about how Daniele is insistent on fake cards and always tracks the auction, write to Forum to warn other collectors for these fake cards and push on such a dealers out of our community here to protect us to buy fake cards. We all know Daniele had some personal problems and out of activity since May 2002. And I know most of the collectors and dealers here in All-Cards were waiting for the return of Daniele, because he always gives the auctions a special soul and mood. Most of us know Daniele someway, contacted and realized transactions with him. I wonder how many person can say negative thing about him ? Shortly, in my name, I can say Daniele Pitaressi is a CORRECT PERSON and he dedicated his life for phonecards collection. Izzet Kirbas

ciao to all...i am a collector, not a dealer.I know Daniele since 1999, and I had with him a lot of business, and always he was extremely correct with me, more, he was a real friend, giving me a lot of cards (not 10 or 20 cards, but thousand of cards) and accepting without any problem payment by instalments.
I don't know the persons that dispute with Daniele, but i'm sure that the problem is only for misunderstood, and i'm sure that with a little of good will all will be solved
....i'm an optimist, but all will be ok in a few days ))
I can only to thank Daniele for his friendship, for his patience with me, for his competence, for his time dedicated to phonecards world...and this is valid also for Andy and Olga))

I would tell my opinion about this fact. I can write here not only as the administrator of the site, but also -and especially- because Daniele is a good friend and customer of mine.As administrator, I would just remember one of the rules of this Forum:

You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by Collectors Forum. You agree to keep a polite behaviour and to respect other users.
It seems to me that both Derek and Charles don't know what is the meaning of invasive of a person's privacy or to keep a polite behaviour and to respect other users.  I think that there are few persons in phonecard collecting world that never had a deal with Daniele. I have been dealing with phonecards for over 10 years now, but all my dealings in these years are just a very small quantity if compared only with Daniele's deals of just one year. I have no doubts affirming that in a short time he is became the most important presence in our world, and that his contribute to rise up a situation where collecting phonecards was going to an end, has been great and definitive. All his life was dedicated to phonecards, and he moved thousands and thousands of $ from his pockets to the dealers, never failing a deal...and over 2,000 positive feedbacks (and no one negative) raised in Phonecards Auctions before the hackers attack are significant.
And now...it's not a mystery for nobody that Daniele have had a bad period of problems that obliged him to stay away from this world, and to interrupt all transactions. Everybody knew this, and it was communicated several times on this forum too that he couldn't answer emails. It's not easy to realize how difficult could be to restart after 5 months, finding lots of transactions left suspended, and thousands of emails received, and put in order everything! Don't forget that Daniele has come back to activity just 2-3 weeks ago... well, he's not Superman, let's give him the time to be back at 100% before spitting on him as Derek and others publically did! 
The meaning of their posts was of course to warn other people about someone they consider a bad trader (even a cheater and a swindler, as wrote Derek!)...was this really necessary with Daniele??? Do you really think that this was the right thing to do? I know Daniele very well, and know how honest and correct he is, not only in phonecards delings, but also because I've been working for him for over 2 years, building his web site, and he never failed a payment.
And it's common opinion of all people I know that it's a pleasure to deal with him. However, as far as I know him, I must say also that he has a strong character, that is positive of course, but could be interpreted as negative too on some occasions. He is always correct with everybody, and he rightly pretends the same correctness from others, being quite impulsive and even vendicative with people threatening or unrespecting him.  (Daniele...don't feel offenced for this judgement about you!  ) So...what to say? I don't know anything about the transactions between Daniele and Derek or Charles, however if things had gone as they affirm, I could understand their point of view. What I don't undertand at all is their behaviour against a person that is just come back to us and has the good will to complete all interrupted transactions. But, as I said, let's give him the material time to do this.  ----------

Hi all collctors. All people that know Daniele, also know, that he do a lot for ALL collectors. Daniele is one of my VERY BEST friends, and I always had 100% trust in him. We did A LOT of business together, and I NEVER got any problems with him.
I also think, that your own work is more importent that phonecards. Phonecards is only a hobby. Keep on with the good work Daniele. Happy collecting to all. Bye Jorn from Denmark

Hi again Everybody,I have re-read all I have written on this forum and I cannot find where I have INSULTED Daniele!!! I have tried to be very careful in what I have said. FACT - Many E-mails sent to Daniele privately inluding AFTER he became active again on All-Cards FACT - To this day I have not received any response EXCEPT on this Forum - I would have preferred this to be private but not once did I get a private message from Daniele! FACT - Money is owed for some considerable time - Daniele has publically on this Forum stated payment will be made - this I await. None of this would have appeared on the Forum if E-mails had been replied to or acknowledged. My honesty and integrity are also being challenged. Andrew Murray knows exactly where I live as he has collected many cards from my house in the UK - he is welcome to visit and examine my stock of Falkland cards - some purchased off Derek and some from other sources - to establish whether this is my stock or not. This invitation is open to anyone else who wishes to examine my stocks. I repeat here that six boxes out of very many were left at my house after Andrew Murray collected the remainder. What was in the boxes collected I have no idea as it was not my business. The arrangement to have the boxes shipped to my house was asked for by Daniele Pittaressi and this was not a problem for me as they were kept in my garage and placed there on arrival. I have done this many times for other people with no problem. In fact I still have a bag in storage for Alan Putterman an American dealer some people may know - this has been here for more than a year. Any financial or other agreements between Derek or Daniele I was not party to. I trust this clarifies my position in this matter. This boils down to a total breakdown in communication where messages over a period of time went unanswered.

do you can confirm that I don't GOT ANY Falkland Autelca cards,ANY Falkland £2 cards,and many more cards,as Derek wrote here,and that are maybe in your home YES or NOT???? This is the problem!!If you don't have this cards,and I got this cards(impossible....)I am realy a swindler as Derek wrote,but if you have at your home this cards,and I don't got ANY of this cards....maybe I am not a swindler....it's easy Charles or not??

here the Charles answer:Hi Daniele and Andy, I am having trouble accessing the All-Card Forum through my server for
some reason so will answer this by private E-mail. In fact I think most
persons are fed up now with this squabble on the Forum so it is probably
better to answer this way anyway. If you wish you can post this on the
Forum as I will not be putting any more posts up now regarding this
matter. With the first message I am not too sure what Daniele is asking because
I have no idea what was in the packages collected so I cannot say what
was or was not received. All I know was all boxes except six were
collected from my house. The remaining six were opened on instructions
from Derek and they contained mostly GPT cards though there were some
chip cards - Sea Lions and the Train card. I have not emptied the boxes
completely as the majority of the cards were the GPT cards showing the
Wreck of the Lady Elizabeth at Sunset. Regarding Autelca cards I have, of course, had these in the past and may
still have one or two 50 Units cards left somewhere. But all my 100 Unit
cards were sold a long time ago. It is possible I may have one 200 Unit
card somewhere but unlikely. With £2 cards I have had two of these in
the past - both sold. None of these came from Derek but from other
sources. It is a pity I did not keep a record of boxes that arrived and were
taken - but then I did not expect this problem with them as I was just
the caretaker of what arrived. Now this arrangement was made by Daniele
through Andrew. As the boxes arrived they were placed in my garage where
they all were when Andrew arrived to collect the major part of them.
Again I did not keep any record of what was or was not taken as this
really was of no interest to me. With the amount due to myself - copies of the last two E-mails sent
follow. You will note that cards returned and the catalogues were taken
into account (quite generously on my part). These messages have been
sent several times now and I can always send again if necessary. Charles

I do not normally get involved with discussions, but I must agree with the majority of posts here that Daniele is a credit to the hobby of collecting telephone cards. I have known Daniele for many years now, long before the start of MV cards. Even then I was impressed with his enthusiasm and dedication to the hobby. I remember a discussion I had with him in these early days when he told me that in his opinion there was a big lack of information about cards, and that he intended to produce catalogues covering the world at a rate of one per month. I agreed that this was an excellent thing to do, but personally thought that it was an impossible task in such short timescales. However, I had not reckoned on the fact he would work 18 hours per day and 7 days per week to achieve this ! I think it is fair to say that these catalogues have revitalised the hobby, and made it much more enjoyable for all of us.Although I was personally disappointed that Daniele became involved as a dealer, (I always felt that this would detract from his passion as a collector), it is an undeniable fact that MV Cards has brought collectors worldwide together, and made available rare cards that are nearly impossible to find when acting as an individual. What is also important is that he has worked hard to keep prices reasonable and expose fraudulent transactions. To this end, I find it incomprehensible that he would not pay for cards received. As to his not answering e-mails, it was a generally known fact that MV Cards was temporarily 'on hold', and Daniele was perfectly entitled to do this without giving any reason. In conclusion, a hobby should only be about enjoyment, not aggravation. Please do not create a situation where Daniele feels that it would be better to quit phonecards and lead a quieter life with some other activity. Collectors of phonecards are much better with him than without him.

Dear Friends ,For me and I am sure that for many other collectors and dealers world wide Daniele Pitarresi is the number 1 information source about phonecards.
I personally want to thank Daniele & all MVcards staff for all the hard and important work they are doing for the phonecards collectors world wide.
I know Daniele for few years now.
During those years we made alot of transactions and even once I did not have any problem.

I will categorically state clearly for the very last time
1)I do not have the cards that Daniele is complaining about
2)The arrangement to store and collect the cards was made by Daniele NOT me for his convenience NOT mine.
3) I had no idea what was or was not in the many boxes collected from my home by Andrew Murray.
4) Daniele owes me a substantial amount of money - $1700 that pre-dates all this uproar which has been promised many times and has NEVER been paid up to this posting today.
5) It appears to me that Daniele is using this Falkland dispute as a means of not honouring his obligations to myself - the implication being that I have these cards. If this is the case where is the proof?
6) this whole dispute is between Daniele and the supplier of the cards - not between myself and Daniele. What needs to be established is what was in the boxes taken from my home, what boxes were delivered to my home (did all arrive?) - as I had no interest in this I kept no record of what arrived and what was collected!
7) I have already stated quite clearly that anyone is welcome to view my Falkland Island stocks to see if any of the disputed material is in my possession - no one has yet taken up this offer! - Though I do have many buyers visiting my home - perhaps if any who read this can state whether they have seen Daniele's cards?
8) My only dispute with Daniele is over the substantial amount of money owed to me for items supplied - supplied in good faith to him on the promise of full payment which has NOT been made yet.Perhaps Daniele can explain why this payment has not been made? The only reason I make this posting is because yet again this matter has been dragged up in the Forum by a person to whom this matter really has no relevance as he has never in any way been involved in this dispute/disagreement. That Daniele has produced lots of excellent catalogues and that he is a 'big player' in the world of phonecards I do not dispute - neither do I dispute that he buys and sells many cards successfully and without any problems and that he has many satisfied customers world wide. My only dispute is over an unpaid debt to myself and I ask Daniele to pay that debt or return the cards to me - without dragging up an affair that is unrelated to the debt owed. I apologise once again to all those reading this to whom this is of no interest especially after I stated I would not re-post regarding this matter.
