Congo, 1992

There are very few cards issued in the Republic of the Congo. In 1992 a telephone system based on chip cards supplied by Schlumberger was installed and three cards were issued, with values of 25, 50 and 100 units, all with SC4 chips in Afnor position. The three cards also exist with SC5 chips and were probably a second supply. The system was then abandoned but in 2003 Urmet cards were printed, although it is not certain that they were actually used in the country.
