Mali, 1988

The simple white chip cards with SoTelMa logo have been used in Mali for a long time and exist in many variations. However, before 1994 the optical cards provided by Landis & Gyr were used. The first series of definitives saw the light in 1988 and included three values, each with a circulation of only 2,000 pieces: 30 units (806A), 60 units (806B), and 120 units (806C) and were without  notch; they were reprinted in 1990, and the new edition included a part of cards with notch and a part without.
