Haiti, 1996

Haiti is a Caribbean country that occupies the western part of the island of Hispaniola, sharing it with the Dominican Republic, located in the eastern part. In the country only remote memory cards were used, which started to be available to the public in 1997. But the first cards circulated in Haiti were two remote memory of 10 and 20 dollars, issued by Trescom and used by the US soldiers of UN Peacekeeping Force during the UNMIH mission, which lasted from 1993 to 1996, aimed at assisting the Haitian government and ensuring the holding of free and democratic presidential and administrative elections.
